Root River Trail:

This 60-mile paved trail network meanders along the Root River amid 300-foot bluffs, attracting thousands of outdoor enthusiasts each season.

Come visit Gator Greens located in Whalan, just four and half miles east of Lanesboro.  Fun for kids, families or just a group of friends.


The Old Bank Art Gallery:

Built in the late 19th century, the Whalan State Bank building still contains the old brass vault door.  Today the building is home to The Old Bank Art Gallery, a unique place to stop just across the street from the Aroma Pie Shop.

The Whalan Museum:

Established in 2002, the museum is located in the upstairs of the 1898-constructed and newly renovated building on the corner of Oak Street and 2nd Avenue.
